I recently upgraded from a Droid Bionic to an LG G2. I purchased a few ringtones that I can't figure out how to transfer them from the Bionic to my LG. I have tried loading them to my laptop via USB but I can't get it to read the device. Any advice besides buying them again?
Did you buy them from Verizon? Or from somewhere else?
In your my Verizon account the option to transfer your media is listed in the account notes. Apps and ringtones. However I don't use the paid ringtone route.
The LG G2 uses different music formats like .mp3 and .wma and .w4a
You can use any song on your computer or on your device to use as a ring tone. Why bother buying them?
Additionally in your My Verizon Web Portal under your purchased ringtones is an option to push to your device. Again I don't use Verizon's service for cloud or ringtones so you would have to try under trial and error.
There are also some good online ringtone making sites that can send via text message a 30 second tone either made by you or one you can have for free. I personally make my own ring tones from my music cd's and I do the same for my wife's phone.
