Do I have to switch carriers?

I'm not sure if others can share my sentiments here, but I have to put this out there.

I hate this phone.  I'm currently on my 3rd LG G2 in less than 2 years and since the update, and it's looking like it's time for #4.

I previously had the same issue with 2 phones in a row where the same section of the touchscreen (about 25% of it) just went completely dead and at random times would go completely haywire and start scrolling all over the place and clicking on random apps and such.  After my second trip to the store to resolve the exact same issue, I asked if I could simply be switched to a different phone of equal value. I was told if it happens again one or two more times, then support might be able to sort me out with a new phone. Translation: No.

Well the 3rd phone worked (I wouldn't say well, it just worked) for about 6 months and then this Lollipop upgrade came around...

Now the battery lasts about 3-4 hours, takes hours to fully charge, sometimes it doesn't even charge when I plug it in and continues to drain battery, the GPS does not work at all (not an exaggeration, it does not work) and, most frustrating of all, sometimes the screen just won't turn on.  I'll hit the unlock button, use knock-knock function, and nothing.  When I touch the screen, it vibrates as if it were on and responding, but it's completely black.  Sometimes it fixes itself after a couple minutes or if someone happens to call me, but most of the time I have to restart the phone and I've actually had times where that doesn't even work and I have to restart multiple times.

As I've been informed by a quick Google search, I'm definitely not the only one experiencing these issues.  My question is this: Is Verizon going acknowledge the fact that this phone is a complete dud and fix these issues, or are we to assume that they're going to maintain their "tough sh*t, you chose to buy this thing" stance and we're all just going to have to switch carriers?  Because, as of right now, I have absolutely no intention of renewing my contract this year.

I had 4 replacements, none for screen issues, but I did ask for another phone, different model, but I was told no, and that's fine because I knew that was a slim chance to begin with.  I was offered Early Edge, but have since gone another route.  So there is an option there.

So their solution for selling you a terrible phone was to have you give them $15 more a month? When did Verizon become Comcast?

No, I would actually be paying the same if not just a little less.  But, I ended up with a perfect install of 5.0.2.

baron.biggs, reading this saddens me! We don't want to leave you without a property working phone.  Now a days we rely so much on our phones it no longer is a luxury but a necessity. We can work together to have this phone fixed in no time. When was the update done to the phone? Are all your application up to date? How much storage do you have available on your phone? Settings> Storage. Does your phone have any physical/water damage? Any case or screen protector on your phone?
