LG does, but no they won't tell you its coming until its active on the phone.
There was some posting on the forum I think a few day ago, can't find it now. There was talk of a possible update to 5.0 coming in March, but I have not seen an official date. Someone may chime in with more current information.
Yeah, end of March beginning of April, or so it said. And, it will most likely be 5.0.1 We will see what happens with the G3 rollout.
Don't be in a hurry for it! I loaded lollipop on my Samsung S5 and am having nothing but trouble since I did - poor performance, big battery drain, my computer can no longer see my phone, etc. Make sure you read up on the update reviews before you take the plunge.
Yeah, I've been reading hundreds of posts regarding that S5 issue. Now, that also does not mean it will happen to LG...different manufacturers and processes. I will play it smart, like a lot of S5 users should have done, and watch the forums, blogs, and news articles for a couple weeks before I update.
True, though the fact that Verizon is pushing a bad upgrade on everyone is cause for concern. My suggestion is to let someone else be the guinea pig.
Hence the 2 week waiting period.
