Earbuds only

My phone will only work with earbuds in? When I take them out the icon still shows they are plugged in....I've tried rebooting and searching through the settings with no luck.

Help???

I'm sorry to hear about what's going on with your device! We definitely want to see this fixed for you. Have you tried any other headphones? Is there anything inside the headphone jack at all? Any other damage to the device at all?

I tried different headphones and safe mode, but it did not work. At this time it does not appear that there is other damage.

Other suggestions???

Please be sure that pictures are saved on SD card and contacts can be saved with the Backup Assistant or google.com/contacts .
