i need to know how to block texts
You can block a number from texting and calling you through your My Verizon account. I would suggest checking out the similar discussions like yours for more specific instructions and/or images.

@Greeneyes29 - Were you able to figure out how to block those text messages? Like Ann154 mentioned, simply log in to your My Verizon account, scroll towards the middle to a section called I Want To. Under the category called Plan, select Block Calls and Messages. From there just type the number the number you wish to block and your done. The block is good for 90 days.
