Last night I had to do a factory reset on my LG G2 and before doing so I uploaded everything to the cloud. Now I can get my messages back? Is it possible to do?

If you used Verizon Cloud, just log back into your Verizon account in Accounts in Settings. Then open the Cloud app and start syncing.

I see the sync now option but it's unclickable?

Are you logged into the Verizon account and the app? Are both set up on your phone?

I was able to import all my contacts, video's, and pictures but not the text messages this morning.

If you have your contacts still in Cloud online, go there, export a csv file and import it into Google Contacts in Gmail. Forget about the Verizon Cloud and use Google Drive and Gmail. You'll never have that issue again. You can use SMS Backup and Restore app in the Google Play Store to back up messages to your phone, SD Card, or Drive.
