How do you save pics to phone when received on the Revolution

I get pics sent to me and for the life of me cannot figure out how to save to phone. This LG Revolution

Is this through email, gmail, mms, what? The steps will be different for each.

So far through mms, just got phone on Monday

For mms, try a long press of either the attachment or the white space in the message itself. The long press will open up an options menu that includes the option to save the attachment to the sd card.
