I can't get the music on my phone to play in my car any more: It played fine before the latest update, now when I hit the MP3 button on my car radio, it says "No Media found"

Before the last update, I was able to play the music on my LG 2 over my car stereo system via blue tooth.  A week ago I attempted to play my music in the car while on an 8hr drive and it wouldn't play.  Normally, I select the music widget on my phone and then press the MP3 button on my car stereo and the music plays in the car.  This has happened since the last update.  Did the newest update (a month ago) change something that is keeping my music from playing in the car now????
