I can't send or recieve mms (picture) messages.

I had this problem in June and I did a factory restore and it worked for 28 days... Now I have the same issue. What can I do?

I loved this phone up until the upgrade! Why did they have to ruin it?!?

It's a known issue and LG will be sending a patch to fix it near September.  So you could fdr it again and still may not work.  In the mean time just email pics to your friends and family. You may have to ask them to text their email but I don't have another solution other text apps like Google hangouts or verizon messages don't seem to work

Wow this really sucks...no matter what phone i get none of them work as they are supposed to and yet they cost so much that's irritating...and this has been going on for months for some people they should move a bit faster... I'm irritated and it's only been a week for me hopefully they hurry up with a fix

Just for the asking are you using the Network to send & receive your Picture Messages?  To send out messages you have to be fully on the Network not Wi-Fi and there might be possibility that pictures are to large to send or receive so it might not hurt to check your Camera settings..

I wish I knew what settings I have different on my G2 because I can send Picture Messages (mms) just fine, have my mobile data OFF and am using Wi-Fi only and I do NOT have to use smaller pictures. I have my camera set at W10M which is the 41660x2340 (16:9) size at 10 megapixels. I am using the native messaging that came with the phone, not Hangouts or any other app that has to be downloaded. Maybe it's because when I first set up my phone about a month ago, I didn't let all the Google this and that apps (total crap bloatware) update or install themselves.

I had been trying to send while connected to 4G LTE network.

Interestingly, I am no longer having this issue as of Thursday afternoon. I didn't change any settings or try anything at all... I have no explanation at all for this. Guess I'll see how long it stays working.
