I was wondering when the LG Revloution will be pushed with the new android update? I hear many other 3g phones have the update, and I was wondering if the Revolution had any set date for the update?
DocGood, I know you and other Revolution owners want the most up to date software but at this time I do not have any information regarding a new update for this phone. I would like to ask, are you experiencing any issues with your device because we may have individual fixes for an issue that's been reported by other Revolution owners. The last software update was August 3, 2011 fixed some of the issues for Email and Messaging, Call Features, Device Features, Applications and Widgets. My Revolution has had random reboot problems as soon as the 2.2.2 (V6) update was pushed. My phone randomly rebooted only a couple times a week before the update and afterwards the phone randomly reboots it's self 2-4 times a day. It's not related to switching between 3G or 4G and Verizon's tech support suggestion to perform a Factory Data Reset hasn't helped at all. I'm not going to send this one back only for them to send me a POS refurbished phone that has the same problem.
