I do not think Verizon really cares about the issue with the LG Revolution right now because if they do, then  the issue would have been taken care of. I am sure by now they have figured out that there is  something wrong with this phone and not an "isolated incident". The question is, are they going to do anything about it or just sit down and see what will happen? All of us with this phone,  the LG Revolution,  start sending them letters in the mail because it doesn't look like they are  keeping up with this Verizon site. I am running out of patience with Verizon Team Members , especially when they keep saying we have to reset the phone because obviously it does not work, or they send you a replacement phone or this is an isolated incident.  My phone freezes up several times a day, It does not matter what I am doing. The phone could be on the charger and it freezes up. Then I never receive my text messages.  I too have been a faithful Verizon Customer since 1997, when Airtouch Cellular was the company before Verizon Wireless took it over.  Something has to be done.  We should all get together and file a class action law suit then this will get their attention for sure!

Just adding another "me, too" comment to try to illustrate to Verizon and LG that there are many LG Revolution/Verizon customers who are experiencing multiple problems with apps that frequently foreclose and a phone that re-boots spontaneously. I, too, am on my second Revolution...same problems as with the first one...except the battery actually stays charged for about 4 hours longer!  I suspect some of the problems are caused by application conflicts with all the bloatware that cannot be uninstalled. I sure wish the folks at Verizon and LG would provide us with a solution...OS upgrade that really works, ability to uninstall many megabytes of bloatware, or hardware replacement...whatever it takes to solve the issues.  If that doesn't happen soon I will happily join a class action law suit, or I will switch service providers.  I'm definitely not willing to buy a new phone at full price (vs upgrade price) to get rid of this piece of junk that Verizon and LG should gladly pull off the market.

I too HATE this LG Revolution!  I had an AT&T iPhone and loved it!  I joined my kids plan and went to the LG Revolution and have never been so frustrated in my life!  I have been to the verizon store and was encouraged to transfer pictures to my computer and do a factory reset.  I just got pics tranferred but after reading these posts am not very encouraged about the results of this phone that I will have to keep until August 2013.  I think I will contact the Better Business Bureau if I cannot get any better customer service than has been reported here.

I agree with you. I am on my 4th or 5th phone since my inception back in March of 2011 its ridiculous. They don't seem to care that us paying customers are unhappy. I am very very close to just paying the early termination and going to Sprint. That will happen within the next 10 days if i am not satisfied with the solution Verizon comes up with after the complaint Ive filed with the BBB. I have just had enough. Ive had every problem you have had with your phone along with everyone who has posted things on this forum. Its ridiculous and I don't appreciate the customer service and lack of resolution on their part.

This is the answer to your problem with the LG Revolution.

I wrote a letter by email to Verizon Customer Support and told them that the facts

that I have had my phone factory reset a number of times,

that i have had 4 replacement phones and 3 replacement batteries

and they offered me a deal.

I am not the owner of a htc thunderbolt.

Which is a much better phone that the revolution.

Wish me luck in my venture with my htc phone.

Best of luck to you all and write to the customer service and they will swap out the phone for you and will not change your contract in any way shape or form.

Thank you so much for sharing this information. I have not had as much trouble as many other people but there are still nagging  issues with this phone and it has gotten better since the 2 upgrades. Good luck with the HTC.

May I ask how long the process took and what information you shared?

If I have to start at the beginning, I would end up with a novel!

Thank you

Yup, the phone is a total piece of junk. There are no fixes, except to get rid of it. I will never ever again buy any LG product. And LG can chalk that up to VZ's wonderfully helpful customer service people who are so full of bull when it comes to dealing with these Edsel phones.
