No Verizon is the problem. Willingly selling defective products to

customers then lying to them and insulting their intelligence. i will not

stay with any company that trains their "tech reps" to lie to customers.

this is by far and hands down the worst product LG ever came out with . response time is horrible.  apps take too long to load, shuts off every now and then, closes apps automatically, and to reiterate the response time is crap. and is annoying to deal with and have to wait on the phone everytime i use it. i bought this phone because of the name and products i already own of LG, but this phone was a big ass flop.

You summed it up perfectly. We should file a class-action suit against them. It's terrible and it doesn't help that all of that crap is loaded on from Verizon. I wish I had returned it within the 14days...

This is the worst phone.  I have had issues since I first bought it.   Doesn't start up easily.  Freezes, slow.  A piece of junk.  I bought it because I thought that LG was a great brand.  What a surprise!!  Should have bought the I Phone which was what I was planning to get.  Can't wait for my contract to be up.

So If I want another phone because obviously this one does not work because i have had all these problems and more since I bought the phone I will have to pay retail price? I cant even text on this thing it either doesn not send it or i do not recieve important text messages for days or any as a matter of fact or freezes all together....I went to the Verizon store just yesterday and the guy working told me that LG does not know what they are doing and their products do not work correctly...... I think they should switch out the phone for  the discounted price if not free i have went to them over and over again to have them fix it and their responses are actually its the cell phone that does'nt work right and we cant do anything about it.... sooo why would you cell my mother this phone for me for Christmas when she has no idea what she was buying... she was trusting the loyal Verizon sales man is what she was doing...

LG Revolution - Many Problems.

First I have been a loyal Verizon fan for many years and even moved the company I worked for from Sprint to Verizon (I work in IT so I am understand phones).  I have had the Incredible and Droid X and loved them.  When it came time to get another phone I had to choose quickly, wanted a 4G phone and the price was good for the LG Revolution.  I have had 7 months of extreme frustration with this phone.  Multiple calls to tech support, multiple factory resets and even was sent a new SIM card to insert to see if that fixed my issues.  My issues are, extreme slowness, reboots at random times, phone keypad will not work (trying to erase voice-mail messages without being able to hit the 7 key is very frustrating without having to reboot), it constantly changing from 3G to 4G to no G within minutes or even seconds while everyone around me with Verizon phones have full 4G bars!!!  And there are many other minor issues.  BUT, the main issue is the dropping of calls!  At least every 3rd call I make is dropped after about 14 seconds into the call and then it takes, due to its slowness, about 15 seconds to be able to redial the number.  I really do not know what to do as I am paying for a phone that is basically useless.  I have tried to negotiate with you guys at Verizon saying that I will pay HALF the full retail for a new phone to no avail.  I am now looking into what it will cost to buy out the rest of my contract and go with another vendor.  I do not want to but I need to have a working phone.  Any help you can think of please let me know!

I went through two replacement phones and when I went to replace the latest one today after four long months of the same issues everyone is discussing (shuts off randomly, drops calls, charging port just stopped charging the phone, texts wouldn't send, the list goes on). I got on with customer service by dialing 611 and the first rep couldn't help me so she got me to customer service. Next rep was tech support and he told me there was nothing he could do but offered to let me speak to his supervisor. When I reached his sup, he also said there was nothing he could do but I stopped him right there. I told him that " the community section of the VZW website there are countless threads from countless other people dealing with this same issue. I am an educated consumer, I have done my research and I know this is a phone known to have many defects and it should have been recalled, regardless of whether or not Verizon or LG will admit that. It was pulled from shelves 60 days after being released and I will NOT accept another replacement. Furthermore, I am friendly with a reporter at my local newspaper (not just a threat, I was actually considering approaching a friend to do a story) and I plan to file with the Better Business Bureau regardless of the outcome." Long story short, they allowed me to renew my 2 year contract over the phone and purchase the phone of my choice at the contracted rate, NOT retail! Please, go in and fight for what is rightfully owed to you after dealing with this horrendous device. I explained I am not asking for a free iPhone or top of the line anything, just the right to renew my contract and to PAY for a new device that actually works and they allowed me to do so. I still plan on filing with the BBB in the hopes of recouping some of what my boyfriend had to pay to replace this phone (we chose the Galaxy III which after taxes and whatnot came to 248.39) but they finally caved after I presented the evidence against them. Good luck to all, and I hope this post helps someone else end their awful experience with the LG Revolution.
