My revolution is not updating, it is still on V4 when I check for updates it says that there are none availiable and I know for a fact there is a v6 and possibly a v7 update that is OTA. Is there anyway to force this update to occur?
I have received now the v6 update but I called Verizon about the v7 gingerbread update. They stated that they are still pushing updates out. Is there anyone still running Froyo and haven't received the update yet?
The Gingerbread update for the LG Revolution became available on October 28, 2011.
If it wasn't pushed to your phone, you need to wait for it to be pushed. Once you receive the message in the notification bar, you will then be able to receive Gingerbread.
