Hey! Recently having issues with my LGG2 screen. It started with the top of my device not responding to drag down the menu. So, I recalibrated screen/rebooted/removed SIM to no avail. Now, I just open an app and tilt to landscape to access.... Not ideal, but it works most of the time.
Now, the top right corner isn't responding which unfortunately is the where the menu is located for most apps, etc. so I'm unable to use my phone for any app that doesn't allow landscape. Please let me know how I can remedy - thank you!!!!
You need a new digitizer. Some thought it was software-related, but after almost 2 years, we have discovered it is hardware-related. There were a lot of affected units, not mine personally, but I have been familiar with this issue for a while now. If you have the extended warranty or total mobile protection with Verizon, they will replace with a refurbished G2 no charge. Otherwise, you can buy a new or used phone. Or, pay for repairs.
