What is this icon?

Just got my G2 a few days ago. Noticed this icon - circled in red - pop up this morning after I connected to my office's Wi-Fi network (coincidence?). Does anyone know what this is? I don't see this referenced in the Help app on my phone or online. Thanks.

Does your office have a network extender?  That's what the icon looks like.
