Perhaps a message from VZW to preface the update with a changelog in full, and a checkbox to the effect that "I Agree" as well as strongly suggested best methods for an error-free update. Instead, all you get is a notification that there is an update and any info about the changes pops up AFTER the update and reboot. The trouble and stress that could be saved.
