I have a Tylt wireless charger I've been using for months with my G2.
Normally when I start charging I get a pop up that tells me the wireless
charging has started. After a few seconds it goes away but the screen
stays on. Yesterday I installed the Android 5 update. Now when I put my
phone on the charger I get a full screen, semitransparent notification
about wireless charging as well as a large battery icon showing how much
juice I have left. I like this, but after a few seconds not only does it
fade away but my screen goes off as well. I have my display timeout set to
always stay on so as soon as the screen goes off I have to double-tap to
bring it back on. Is there a way to prevent the screen from going off
after placing my phone on the charger?
