g2 unlocked for international use?

Hi! I have a Verizon G2 phone and was wondering if the device is already unlocked for use in Korea.

It is unlocked, but the bands and frequencies in use might be different on the Korean carrier, and the VS980 might only work on 1 of those, or none.
