how long does this Firmware update take?

I'm having the same issue. My phone shut off due to low battery. Plugged it in and I got a screen that states, :

"Firmware update, then has a USB symbol with what looks like refresh arrows circling around it, then a message at the bottom stating,  DO NOT UNPLUG the USB connection until the process is complete. Download bar under that, then in a box it says 910K B1, UNROOTED"

I don't know if its charging. I can't turn it on or off or do anything with it. I plugged it in almost 2 hours ago and have had no movement on the download bar.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

IDK why you'd have an update to download.  VS98027A was the last update.  Still 4.4.2
