lost my contacts. how do i retrieve them?

Lost my Contacts on my L2G2, did not have it backed up.  How di I retrieve them?

Should have been stored to your Google Account, unless you always saved your contacts to your Phone contacts book.  Check your Gmail for contacts and check to make sure you have Contacts set to sync in your Google account under Accounts and Sync in your phone's main settings menu.
