Another Problem Thread, Following the Latest G3 update

My wife installed the latest released update from Verizon this week for the G3. Immediately after installing the update, the screen responsiveness degraded. Parts of the screen would not even register touch. After rebooting and battery removal, nothing fixed the problem.

After doing a hard reset to factory settings, the phone is again functional, but now the notification bar cannot be dragged down. Not sure if this is related to the screen not registering touch? Also, the phone will not screen rotate even when enabled in settings.

HELP ME VERIZON.
