What a troubling experience, NJViking . I thank you for sharing this with us. We will figure this out together. In case your device goes from bad to worse, be sure you’ve backed it up either to The Verizon Cloud or another source.
Placing your device in Safe Mode helps determine if this is caused by an app or if this is a software / hardware trouble. Here’s how to restart in Safe Mode: https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-112843/
Once in Safe Mode you will notice that all of your apps are no longer present. I’d like to know if these random restarts continue when in Safe Mode.
