Constant reboot, no wifi, process system is not responding

Over the past few days my G3 has begun constantly rebooting by itself. It has occurred over a dozen times for the past 2 hours whether I touch it or not. Every time it reboots itself the message comes up saying the process system is not responding. I did a factory reset on it a couple days ago when the problem first arose but it continued and only worsened at this point. I've spoken with others and the only answer I've gotten is to factory reset and that the new update is basically crap for the G3...I'm currently running on Android 5.1.1. I have no idea how to aleviate this issue and my phone is essetially useless at this point. I still have a year on my contact before I can upgrade away from this device but I don't see it making it another month or week at this rate.

Have you tried running it in safe mode for a while to see if it continues?  If it continues in safe mode then it is a hardware or system software problem that may be covered under warranty if it is less than 12 months old.  If it doesn't occur in safe mode then it is an application that is installed causing the problems.

  1. Press and hold the Power button (located on the back) until Phone options is displayed then release.
  2. Touch and hold Power off (on screen) until Restart in safe mode is displayed.
  3. From the Reboot to safe mode prompt, tap Turn on safe mode.
Note This restart process may take up to one minute to complete.
Note Upon restart, Safe mode appears in the lower left of the unlock/home screen.

Yeah I already tried that and it occurrs in safe mode, doesn't seem to alter the timeframe for which it does it either so I'm putting in a report w/ LG (bought it in NOV last year) to repair it

Not being able to use your G3 can be an inconvenience swatts95. We want you to enjoy your device, which is why we are offering our assistance to you today. Let's get you back up and running properly. May I ask did you have all of your personal info on your G3 backed up on your Gmail account or Verizon Cloud account? What's the last action taken on the device before these issues started? For example, was it the software update to 5.1.1 or has the device experienced any physical/liquid damage? While putting in a report with LG Inc. is an excellent idea, we are still passionate about helping in getting this issue resolved. We're looking forward to hearing from you.
