Is anyone else having this issue?
This was happening on my now RMA phone, and it's still doing it on this NEW G4.
EXAMPLE:
I'm connected to 5.0Ghz signal with my Netgear router, and it would disconnect after a few minutes of usage. I would be in an app, then I would try to open up a link from that app, and it would time out. I would have to disconnect the WiFi signal (off/on) for it to start working again.
This doesn't happen when I'm on the network signal only. It only happens when I'm on the 5.0Ghz signal. It's very frustrating.
It's not my router either. I have two other devices connected to my router using the 5.0 Ghz (dual band) signal and they work without any hiccups.
Is anyone else having this problem?

I've tried to "wait and see if it connects" but that doesn't work. I've even combined it with closing all my apps in memory, and it still TIMES OUT when I open up an app...

Thank you for your response, but I'd rather not.

Best wishes. I'd look to the router then. My G4 has been flawless.
