Uploading your data from your previous phone is always important to keeping memories and previous content JOSROD58. I'm sorry your phone isn't reading your SD card. Where did you purchase the SD from? What phone did you previously own?

I cant remember where i bought it. But i had it in my LG G4. Just purchased
the G5 and it doesnt even read that i put it in the phone.

I understand wanting to be able to access your SD card's content, JOSROD58. Can the SD card be accessed through a computer with a SD card reader? If so, I recommend saving the content to another source like your computer, and then completing the steps to format the card with the LG G5.
