Is there any way I can turn off auto correction spelling for texting? It drives me absolutely nuts when I want to type a specific word and the phone keeps changing the words.

Excellent question. Although it is a great feature available on your device, I can certainly understand if you'd like to turn off word suggestions. Please go into Settings> Language & Input> LG Keyboard settings> Show Word Suggetion. Make sure Show Word Suggestions it's not checked.
