If you have done the Lollipop update and it trashed your LG G3 is there a way to fix it?

I did the update on two phones, neither functions as it did before.

Biggest issues neither will connect tot WiFi -

Am I toast with these phones or can they be reset and fixed by me?

TIA, Pete

For wifi. Tap settings. Tap more. Tap mobile networks. Tap system select. Tap lte/cdma. That should get you connected to wifi. If it doesn't, then more than likely it's a network problem.

Been there done that.

Between  VZW tech support, LG, Google and VZW Corporate tech support I've spent more than 15 hours on the phone.

Much of that was trying to get the update stopped and all they did was point the finger at one another.

I did get a call back and a helpful and understanding support rep from the corporate level that at least admitted there was an issue and no known fix to date.

Replacing my new phones with  "like new" warranty replacements as they wanted would only put me back in the same place somewhere in the future as the updated pounded away again.

According to all three, the is no way to stop the update was it gets pushed, I find this hard to believe from my many years of working in IT support, it can always be stopped, but then none would take responsibility for who pushes it. My biggest issue is with VZW since that is where my monthly bill gets paid. I hold them ultimately responsible if that makes a difference

Like everyone, I want the issues fixed, next update NOT thrust upon us. We, the end user should have the option to update when we feel comfortable with it.

I would like to see VZW, LG and Google take their respective part in the ownership of this issue and compensate us as customers for our time and frustration dealing with phones not functioning as they should.

As of today I am $56 into data overage, this will get removed from my bill, but again at the expense of my time on the phone.

Please let your regional President know you are aware of the issues and that we know they are aware and that that you want compensation your  dealing with a phone not working as it should or did under the Kit Kat.

I am experiencing these issues after update

1. Battery barely lasts an hour

2. Slow charging time

3. Wi-Fi problems

4. Synch problems

5. Phone getting very hot

6. Google play won't update

7. Phone freezing

8. More I can't remember

This is my first time with Verizon and I am NOT happy. I am still having problems with billing among other issues. Anyone have any idea what to do now since this update?

There are a few threads/posts on this forum that answer that question.
