I am having issues while on calls hearing the party that is calling me. This has been an issue for me since I use for a ton of business calls.

The LG G3 is such a large device. Are you sure that you're placing the receiver directly on your ear? Sometimes it takes a bit of getting used to with a device that big. You should also check to see if the hearing aid setting is enabled in the call settings. Try to disable it and see if that helps.

I have had phone since December of last year. This problem started about 3 weeks ago. I have tried what you have suggested and still is not the problem

Then I would suggest visiting a Verizon Corporate store and having them look at it and getting a warranty replacement before your warranty is expired.
