Is it possible to go from 5.0 straight to 6.0?

I'm currently on 5.0.1 and my Verizon update assistant shows that there's an update( does say to which version). Will it update me straight to 6.0 or just another version of 5?  I know that 6.0 is already out so that's why I'm wondering what's going to happen. Will it skip me straight to 6 or just another version of 5.0 since I'm so far back on updates?Verizon Wireless Customer Support

A great quesiton, mariodf. I'm very glad to see you're interested in getting the latest OS for your device. Your G3 should update to 6.0 from 5.0.1 once you run the update. In order to ensure that your device functions at it should on the Verizon Wireless network, I recommend running it when you get the next chance.
