I'm having terrible problems with my lg g3 since the update Friday! I have a very hard time now getting connected to any WiFi. If I do get connected everything is extremely slow or doesn't work at all! If I want to use the internet or most of the apps, I have to disconnect from the WiFi and use data! This is really not acceptable! I loved my phone until this terrible update. Please help!

Carolmctague, we want you to love your phone again. Have you attempted starting the device in Safemode? Please follow this link for more information: http://vz.to/111u3eZ.

I have not tried that safe mode. But why would it be an app problem when it all started after the system update on Friday? It seems like an update problem to me.

Honestly I agree, but I have noticed apps acting different in Marsmallow,
and in the past I have read that some apps are not supported on updates
until they get vetted. After an update, all app creators usually go through
and change things to fit that update. Others, never feel the need to, and
those apps can potentially plague your device. Draw backs of modern
technology. Checking your phone in safemode will let you know that it is
not the device, or update, that there is a pesky app causing your
frustration, the next task would be finding it, which is not fun, trust me.

The same thing I'm facing, confusion... I have been running on my home
Wi-Fi for close to 8 hrs now and havnt had a single pop up saying password
not accepted. Much different than a few days ago, which was once every 10
minutes. I want to test it at my work tomorrow because it was really bad
there. But all I have done is change my snapchat setting, and it seems to
have helped, although, I still feel it's to early in this test to tell.

Now it seems to be connecting to the WiFi but while connected most of the apps don't work. For instance Facebook opens, but pictures don't appear, videos don't play and when I refresh, the circle just keeps turning and turning. And if I try to do a search on the internet, forget it! It just sits there! So frustrating. I wish I had never updated!

Mine did the same thing. All I can suggest is bare with it. Mine is working
better after just a few days. It may just take some time for the Wi-Fi to
catch up (so to speak).

Thank you so much for your help! I will try to hang in there for a few more days and see what happens . I really don't want to do that safe mode thing if I don't have to.

I apologize for our confusion as I do see you mentioned testing in Safe Mode. Thank you so much for taking these steps. As it worked in Safe Mode this indicates an app or apps are affecting the device as you suspect. I would say whatever is most convenient for you in terms of wiping apps completely or just 1 by 1. Here is a link for the factory reset if needed: http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-112585/
