I did a factory reset and I've only found one other thread about it online.
The screen won't stay on more than a minute at a time. This issue on top of all the other issues Lollipop has caused makes me never want an LG phone again.

Tap settings. Then tap accessibility. Then tap screen timeout.

It doesn't have anything to do with the timeout. It's almost as if the power fades in the screen, or if you were to partially disconnect power to the screen. The screen freezes and then fades to black. Then the screen won't turn back on. After letting it sit for a few minutes the screen will come back to life, work for 30 seconds and then become completely unresponsive and fade to nothing. The best thing I can compare it to is if you were to partially disconnect a vga cable to a monitor where the screen kind of flickers and then nothingness. I can tell the phone still responds to touch by the haptic feed back, but the screen does not appear.

I've started to experience the same issue. Sometimes the screen flickers or flashes and then turns black. Sometimes it fades out, but either way it isn't responsive to screen touches and it won't come back on for a bit after. What did you end up doing to resolve this? I already tried a factory restart (which I was barely able to do) and it didn't work.

Same issue. Was working fine, then suddenly it fades to black. Any more info on this one?

I am having this same issue. There is a thread about it over on androidcentral.com. I called LG and they wanted to charge me $150 to replace the screen, plus take 7 - 10 days to do it. So I went to my local U Break I Fix store and had it replaced cheaper and faster. It lasted about a day before it started up again. Now I need to decide if I want to fight with LG about it or try to get a new phone. I am not happy with LG and won't be buying another LG phone.
