Need to switch my OTA updates to Verizon for my LG v40 ThinQ so I can get Android updates or install sw upgrade

I have a LM-V405QA and since it was bought unlocked, it does not have any of the carrier apps installed. How do I get them installed or configure it to get Verizon updates?

I can't seem to find the VZW_Software_upgrade_assistant.exe to download either; frustrating after going through dozens of info pages on how to use it, but they seem to expect the CD is present for installing.

We definitely want to make sure that your device performs the way you need it to, Netwrench. If the device was purchased unlocked, it will use the software upgrades sent directly from LG, rather than Verizon Wireless.
