Unable To Send Calls and Texts to One Contact after Her Switch to AT&T Pre-Paid

Hello.

Today, my girlfriend switched her service over to AT&T, and her number remained the same. However, after she switched, she could no longer receive my texts or phone calls. Every time I call her, her number keeps going to voicemail. On the other hand, I can receive her phone calls, but not her texts. Every time I send a text, it just says "sent" with no error message. AT&T thinks there's something wrong with my phone, but I never blocked her number. My phone is LG K20 V.

Any way we can resolve this issue? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you search the forums there are quite a few complaints about At&t and verizon not communicating well together so probably not your phone.

Thanks for your reply. You're correct that this wasn't a device issue and there are communication issues between Verizon and AT&T. My girlfriend found out that AT&T failed to have her account completely converted from Verizon, which resulted in the issues I mentioned earlier. She was finally able to have AT&T completely convert her account over, hence resolving this issue. Anyone who encounters issues like these can verify to see if AT&T successfully converted yours or your contact's accounts, and if not successful, ensure that it does.

That's a good question. We can do some troubleshooting to your phone. When a number ports to another carrier, the number can be unstable for up to 72 hours after the port is completed. Have you tried turning your phone off for 30 seconds and then back on? What other troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
