Why can't my device dial out?

I activated my LG G4 on Monday, and up until today everything worked fine. Now, for some odd reason I'm unable to dial out. I go to the contact, press on the receiver icon. The dial screen comes up and I hear the two tones that indicate dialing is about to start. I then get dead silence. I can't even call tech support or customer service.

I solved it myself. Had to turn on Mobile Data, and then it started working. <shrug>
