Hello,
Now, I'm going to Dubai and I'm doing the same exercise.
> LTE band 4(1700/2100), 13(700) - VS985
I've assumed the above ~3 frequencies (as the Verizon page lists it). But from "www.phonemore.com/phone/lg-g3-vs985-32gb/1549", it seems to also have the "1800" MHz for 4G. This is also supported by "www.frequencycheck.com/models/GNoeR/lg-g3-vs985-lte-a-lg-b2".
It Italy, as shown in "www.frequencycheck.com/compatibility/LjYrHZx/lg-g3-vs985-lte-a-lg-b2/italy", Italian companies such as 3 (Tre), TIM and Vodafone does have 1800+ . As my post on 2016-6-2 said, I did see 4G LTE with Vodafone. This was confirmed.
After all, there is just this 1800+ hidden frequency for VS985 (LG G3 for Verizon) that is useless in US but may be useful outside US.
