I realize this is a community forum, but from past experience I know Verizon does look in on us from time to time, so here's my question.
While researching whether or not to pre-order the LG G3, I learned that the US and Korean variants will not include QI wireless charging out of the box. LG apparently made this change at the behest of the carriers (including our friends Verizon Wireless) in those regions.
Irregardless of this features removal I still pre-ordered the phone because I was able to research that wireless charging was still capable via an LG accessory.
So what I want to know is what does Verizon have against wireless charging? If this was all about selling accessories, then I would think no G3 would have wireless charging out of the box. The stories I researched were specific that the US Carriers did not want this feature included.
Ok, Verizon... I'm looking for an answer.
