downloaded an app and can't find it

I just started this tablet-- I downloaded "Dish anywhere".. it said it installed..

but now I can't find it.... wouldnt it make a widget if it downloaded ?

I downloaded it thru  google.. was this the mistake ?

I have read many places that Dish anywhere does not work on Lollipop.  However, if it does work and did download, it will be in your app drawer with all your other apps.  No, you should always download through Google Play Store when possible.
