The LG G3 is advertised as having FM radio.  I can't find that on my new LG3

The Verizon version does not have FM Radio.  You can use an app like TuneIn or others, but they WILL use data or WiFI.

The U.S. version doesn't come with the FM radio. Nor does it come with the earphone(s).

Sprint is a US Version and has the FM Radio.  It is the only US G2 that can use NextRadio, which requires the FM hardware.  IDK about any other carriers, other than I know ATT and VZW don't.

It's not built in for the Sprint version.  It's an app. Big difference.

The app needs the hardware.  The app doesn't work on any other G2 in the US other than Sprint and T-Mobile.   http://nextradioapp.com/supported-devices-breakdown/

Thanks everyone. You think the Verizon rep would have stated that when I said I was buying the LG G3 principally for the FM Radio feature...that sucks.

Verizon only offers the HTC M7 and M8 that have working FM Radios in them.

All LG G3s have FM radios in them.  Verizon has decided to disable the radio, probably to get us to switch to streaming radio and use more data.  You can even download the radio apk online, but it won't work.  Sucks big time.

Of course most customers either use wi-fi and/or have unlimited data so if that is part of some evil plan to make more revenue it's kind of dumb. Since I have wi-fi I can stream hundreds of hours of music a month without using any of Verizon data. Also you can download music to your device so you're not using data that way either if you're in a non wifi area.
