how can I get my contact list back?

I ran out of power on my phone. When I got charged back up my contactlist was gone. How do I get it back?

Make sure your wifi and or mobile data are enabled so that sync can replace your contacts from whichever backup service you use.  Although, I have no idea why your contact list would be gone after a simple rundown and recharge.  I do know that some phones will turn off data services at low battery.
