lists loads o phones that are "no longer supported". I have one of these (LG), and I get Verizon phone service just fine. What exactly does it mean that they are no longer supported?

It means you have a 3G device and Verizon is actively shutting down the 3G network. The hard cutoff is end of December 2022.

Anyone with an active 3G phone will have service until Verizon stops service in your area. Any 3G devices that aren't activated have been denied activation for a few years now.

Thank you. That makes sense. Gee, you'd think they would actually tell you that when they announce that support is ending.

Hey there, Danl99. Great question, and definitely glad to hear everything is working fine with your service. The link in question lists devices that Verizon no longer provides online support for. However, rest assured that you can still reach out to us at any time, and we can help troubleshoot any device and/or service concerns. Let us know if this helps, please.
