It's importanat that you're able to maximize your cellular data allowance by being able to maintain a reliable WiFi connection on your LG G3 device.  I would love to assist you with your wireless device issue.

First, please share details of what you're experiencing on your device.  What exactly happens when you're connected to your WiFi hotspot?  Is this your home or work WiFi you're connecting to?  Are you experiencing problems with your WiFi connection on any other WiFi capable devices here?  Have you tried removing and re-adding this WiFi connection?  Lastly, what troubleshooting steps have you tried up to this point?  Please let me know so that I can further assist.

I am also experiencing the same issue.

Previous version was working fine with my home wifi, I am assuming I had the vs98524b update, but not certain.

When I agreed to the update to vs98535b this morning, after installing, wifi will not stay connected to my home network.

Symptom: continuous cycle of 1) locating wifi network ID 2) acquiring IP address 3) appears to be connected for a period of approx. 3 secs, then 4) disconnects and shows the message (disconnected from _network id_) then the cycle repeats.

I have read elsewhere this could be related to IPv6 address conventions. Is there any way I can remediate this?

Before this update the G3 had no issues at all connecting to the home network.

Thanks much!

Check to see if your phone is set to LTE/CDMA. If it's not. Then check that setting and see what happens.

I had the exact same Wifi issue/symptoms as Questor3030.  Per Heretic1989suggestion, I changed my mobile network setting from Global to LTE/CDMA, and now my Wifi is working properly.  Makes no sense to me that that setting should affect wifi, but I'm glad it's stable again.

Syrupmaker47,

I'm very glad to hear your wifi concerns are resolved. Battery life is very important to me and I would want this fixed as well. How long is your battery lasting when fully charged? Has this always been your experince or did this just begin? Did you notice anything specific or any changes when this started? Please share additional details and or trends so I may further assist. Thank you.

Never experienced great battery life but sunce the 5.1.1 update it is atrocious. I had to factory reset to fix the wifi issue but it did nothing to help battery life. I would say approximately 4 hrs of battery life with most on time reading twitter, no facebook, few texts, occasionally web searches. As you can tell I'm not a power user and battery should last much longer than it presently does.

Let's double up on on your battery life Syrupmaker47! I know I'm a social butterfly and love to stay connected so longer battery life is super important. Can we assume that you are using the original charger and charging the battery up to 100%? Here's a link on tips on how to extend battery life. Please execute, test, and keep us posted with the results.

Thanks for the link but I have tried those measures before posting. First the wi fi which is better but still intermittent and now the battery drain, both issues occurred right after the 5.1.1 update.
