Activating Netflix

I am trying to activate my Max and Netflix through Verizon LTE internet. Max was no problem, but when I tried to activate Netflix, it took me to a page that said "All we need is your email." So I entered my email. Then it took me to a page asking for my password (with no other visible options).

I don't have a password.

Because I don't have an account yet.

I'm trying to activate it so I can create an account.

I can't see any other way of doing it. I've tried it several times. Do I have to create and pay for my own Netflix account first, then link it to Verizon?

If you are having issues with registering your for the service, follow these steps to make sure you can create your account.
From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon after the Netflix & Max perk has been added.
May take up to 15 minutes to update.
  • From the Account Overview screen, select 
    Services & perks
    .
  • From the Set up section, select 
    Set up
     in the Netflix & Max perk section.
    If the Netflix & Max perk was previously set up on another line in the account, select 
    Manage
     next to Netflix & Max.
  • From the 'You've added Netflix & Max...' message, select 
    Continue
    .
  • From the 'Netflix' section, select Register
     
  • Tap Get started then do one of the following:
     
  • If you don't already have a Netflix account:
     
  • Enter the preferred email address then select 
    Next
  • Enter a password to watch Netflix then select 
    Next
  • Select (check) a plan option (e.g., Premium, Standard, Standard with ads, etc.) then select 
    Continue with selection
  • Review the 'Confirm your details' screen then select 
    Accept
  • Follow the prompts for any additional Netflix details (e.g., backup payment, password recovery, etc.).
  • If you're already a Netflix member: Enter the email associated with your Netflix account then select 
    Next
  • Enter the password you already use to watch Netflix then select next
  • Review the message then select 
    Yes, Start Watching to accept the suggestion based on your existing subscription or select Show Other Plans and do the following:


  • From the 'Now chose your Netflix plan' screen, select a plan option then select (check) 
    Continue with selection
  • Review the 'Confirm your details' screen then select 
    Accept & Watch Now

Hi Freddy,

Thanks for responding. The problem is that I go through those steps, but when I try to enter a password, then click "next" I get an error message that the password  is incorrect.  I've tried the password reset option, but because Netflix doesn't have my email or phone number in their system, they can't send a reset link.

I'm at a loss.

We appreciate the clarification. In this case, if the problem is with setting up the account, it would be necessary to reach out to Netflix, as we do not have a way to set up a new Netflix account through our end.
