I just signed up for FUBO but cannot receive local channels using my Verizon lte gateway. FUBO does not recognize my lte box with the zip code I enter as my home location. I can get local channels when I use my Comcast internet but not when connected to the Verizon gateway.

Hello Flagstaff434

Our internet uses a variable location. This makes connecting to location-based channels challenging. I recommend checking with your TV provider if they have a solution.  -Joe

I recommend that Verizon fix their service so that it actually works at Home like hundreds of other home internet providers. You know the location of your customer. Provide an IP address to match. It's that simple!

On another note, I have found that if you go to the Fubo app on your phone while connected to home wifi,  you can set the home network and get local channels for the zip code on your account.

1. Login to Fubo app
2. Go to Account Details
3. Verify "Home Zip Code" is set to your zip code.
4. Under "Home Network" click "Set Home Network" (or something like that)

I could not do this on my Roku. It claimed that my network was too far from the home zip code. However, it worked on my phone in the Fubo app. Once it was set on my phone, it was set on the Roku, as well, and the Roku had access to local TV programming.

At least for me, using the phone app didn't work either. It looked like it worked, but there was an error message on the bottom of the screen.

Yes it seems that Fubo changed it so now the app behaves the same as Roku. Had this problem again recently and called Fubo tech support. They "elevated" my account and had me log out and log back in. After that the app and Roku still say that my home network is not set, but there is no option to set it. Also I am able to get my local channels just fine. I'm guessing they changed my account to look only at the zip code to determine local channels.

Happy Monday! JohnMcG1, our internet uses a variable location. This makes connecting to location-based channels challenging. I recommend checking with your TV provider if they have a solution.

Hope this helps.
