The Askey LTE Extender allows you to change the status, within your account settings for the device, from "open" to "closed". Changing your Extender to "closed" prevents your neighbors and anyone else from using your Extender without your permission.
However, if you try to add a Verizon Prepaid (versus Postpaid) phone number to the Extenders "closed" list a error occurs and you can not add it.
Verizon and the vendor, Askey, are aware that this is a problem but have not fixed the issue.
Does anyone else have the need to add a Prepaid number to the "closed" list?
When will Askey have this issue resolved?
