I am in the process of upgrading one the lines on my plan that I’ve had for 10+ years. Initially the website says that my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G is worth an $800 trade in. Then at the end of the transaction, it says my trade in is only valued at $220. I don’t understand why the promotion isn’t being honored. I chatted in with customer service. They said this line of service is not eligible for an upgrade (absolutely untrue) and that the Samsung phone is not eligible for a trade in at all. It all feels deceptive. Any suggestions?

I was told I'd get 800 for my S20, now I see they're charging me full price. In fact, I found out that they lied when they said Boost wouldn't port my number, so they said they'd give 800 of the S20... Come to find out Boost did port the number, the two sales guys lied to get us to buy new phones... I've been paying since Sept 2023 65.00 fur 11 months (715.00) and now the app says the balance is 555.00? Where is that 800.00 discount, Verizon is worse than those predator credit cards. I'm beyond livid!
A huge company has rip to off people?

Mau0, we never want our customers to feel like they were misled, and we'd be more than happy to take a look at your account and figure out where that great discount is. Please be on the lookout for a Private Message from us.
