How to Claim a Free Verizon Stream TV for BYOD Promotion?

The fine print reads Free Verizon Stream TV: redemption barcode req'd and must be redeemed within 30 days of activation at vzw.com or a Verizon retail store; Limit 1 Verizon Stream TV per transaction.

But, I can't find the barcode anywhere in my account or bills. I contacted online support and they only gave me a number to call Telesales at 1-800-225-5499, which is time-wasting to call.

Call Tele sales for the code but good luck.  Search the forums and you will see lots can't get the code to work.  Mary

If I had to guess, you will never get it. I still have device charges on my account for the "get a free iPhone 12 mini on us" I was offered in December. I met all conditions, and am accepting I have to pay for it. Now ready to port my number to another carrier. I do not understand how this works for Verizon, losing a customer after none years, but it must. Adjust your expectations accordingly.

Better off buying a roku.  Best buy usually has the voice remote ones on sale for $40.

After several unsuccessful attempts to call customer service and many hours of time being wasted, I can certify that it’s nearly impossible to get Verizon stream device. I have been told by customer service that either ineligible, expired, or no such promotions.

Same problem.  Why do you have an offer that is nearly impossible to get?  It should be really easy.  You have our number, text us the code and we apply it.  Other companies seem to be able to do this with no problems.  It is totally turning me off to Verizon.  That and charging $35 activation per line.

@vzw_customer_support I didn't receive any follow-up communication re: the Stream TV against a line transfer. Contacted Chat Support and he manually placed the order to ship to my address. He entered the wrong name (Account Owner's who lives in a different city, and not mine, the Account Manager) as well as the wrong address. FedEx shipped, attempted and failed to deliver, and returned the package.

Reached out to Chat Support. They said that they couldn't help since they were sales only, and I'd have to call customer support, and gave me the 1-800 number.

Called the 1-800 number, and it says that they're closed (it's 9:45 AM CT on a Wednesday!), and to use the website for support.

Seriously? I just want to be able to give my friend (whose line I transferred from ATT to Verizon) the incentives he was promised!

Just following up to let y'all know that I did follow up via Private Message, and still have no follow-up or resolution. At this point, I'm wondering if Verizon promos are to be trusted, because it's beginning to feel like a bait & switch.
