I wish I read all these complains in this community regarding the BYOD deal before signing up with Verizon!!
The Verizon sales agent at Costco did verify at the time of signing for a new contract that my Samsung Galaxy A10E will be eligible for BYOD so I switched to Verizon. After 3 weeks we started using Verizon, we were notified that the device isn't eligible for a rebate.
This is truly an awkward experience and I've learned never trust them again.
