UPS and Verizon lost my Trade In

I upgraded an Apple Watch for my daughter, and used her old one as a trade in....I mailed it 3 weeks ago, and Verizon is still saying they have not received it.  Typically, I never have issues with trading in devices, but apparently it was my time.  Any suggestions would be awesome; I really don't want to lose the trade in credit.....
