$200 CartOffer gift card

I placed an order in August. During the order the box popped up “Complete order get $200 verizon gift card”. A week after placing the order I messaged Verizon asking how to get it. The rep said I qualified and I would get it 1-2 weeks after activation. Two weeks go by and nothing so I message again. Next rep told me I didn’t qualify at first but then gave me the rebate link but didnt know what code I needed to enter. He entered a ticket for escalation. They said I’d get an email from the escalation team. Never received any response. A few more weeks I message again and was told I qualified and I’d get the giftcard emailed within 30 days or my order and to just wait.  More time passes and nothing. I finally found the cartoffer code in the community forum. If I had just kept waiting I would have missed the rebate window. I entered my rebate info 10/1. It says pending validation “Based on your purchase date, you can expect your rebate to be validated around 10-08-2024 if all offer requirements are met.” It is still pending validation 3 weeks later. I understand it also says it can take up to 8 weeks to receive your giftcard but at this point I have been trying to get it for over two months. I should have it by now if the Verizon people had given me the correct info. I’m tired of going on chat to provide all my info for the reps to not be able to answer my question, or even be able to be given the same answer twice. I’d like someone to actually assist.

I'm with you on this. Complete garbage. I filed mine back in August was rejected. I called and had it supposedly escalated twice by customer service with nothing in response. Finally I got ahold of a English speaking corporate level customer service rep. Who resubmitted the rebate because it was indeed valid. Still nothing. I tried to find out more information today and was told again I could not redeem the offer because I swapped the phone from one number to another on the same account. Verizon will do anything to get you to purchase something but will not stand by their offers or their word.

This is not what I expected from Verizon , since five years of Fios  two accounts , newly ported Five lines from TMobile  , ongoing  back and forthCARTOFFER2024  gift card  saga is mind bugging experience with new promised date shifting gear every time . 
Why this  from Verizon  or the  people who worked there?  Clearly , everyone who comes to Verizon for promotion promised, all record there to issues gift card . Why so much confusion?Why Verizon not issuing gift card after two month ? Sincerely, when you make your customers unhappy nothing could  make those customers to stay , eventually customers will have exit plans today or tomorrow. 
Do Verizon care about the service level of promotion promised? 
ONE OF EVERY EACH CUSTOMER  YOU TRY TO KEEP THEM  SHOULD BE SMART WAY TO KERP YOUR PROMOTION PROMISED INTACT!

I'm curious how long the rebate process takes too. We submitted our rebate on January 27 and the status continues to state "pending verification", but below that it states "Based on your purchase date, you can expect your rebate to be validated around 02-03-2025 if all offer requirements are met."  No further updates. Beyond frustrated with this whole process. I just want what was promised.
