So I did 4 lines with Verizon and 2 were ported from AT&T. I got no notification from Verizon about the switcher rebate so I chatted. The chat rep gave me a code to go submit the rebate.. It started with BBY. So Verizon denied because the rep gave me the Best Buy promo code to claim for $200 port in instead of Verizon, denied to not purchased at Best Buy lol. Really frustrating. Now I can can’t get anyone to help me. This is really a bait and switch offer otherwise they would have just given you account credit. I really have had great experience otherwise but I hate when companies do this. Make it hard for you to get the promo. It’s still being advertised on the site. Why can’t the reps give me the Verizon code or just credit the account to make it right. I am okay with that. hoping someone here can fix it since there have been others with similar issue who got it resolved here.
I know I would be equally as upset if my rebate was denied due to the wrong rebate code, Nkd83. We defintiely want to take a closer look into this and see what happened with the rebate and the code. Please be on the lookout for a private note from us, so we can offer assistance.
